If you guys follow me on facebook, twitter, or instagram, you guys would know that I was one of those unfortunate souls that succumbed to the horrors of this season's flu. Even though I got a flu shot, somehow I managed to get the dreaded sickness. The family ended up getting it shortly after Christmas, and as I attempted to nurse them back to health, I caught the darn thing. It was absolutely miserable. I have been out of commission for far too long and also managed to gain weight while I have been desperately attempting to comfort myself with food.
Anyway, I hope you guys had a fabulous holiday and New Year's celebration! Unfortunately for me, I felt as though I was locked up in a tower of sickness so I didn't actually do anything. So let me live vicariously through you, what'd you guys do?
Since I've had quite the hiatus, I decided that I really wanted to put together an outfit that popped. Nothing quite pops like this absolutely amazing cosmic top from inlovewithfashion.com. I love the vibrant colors so much! And on top of that, its made of a chiffon fabric which is extremely feminine. The cut is extremely flattering and eye catching. I decided to pair this top with a simple black bodcon skirt, and to bring out the pink hues and get a little bit of warmth (SHEESH! It's actually cold in LA), I threw on a pair of opaque pink tights. For a little added edge, I decided to grab my studded moto jacket that I swear every girl needs!
On a different note, I really need to do my hair.
