wooly, the houndstooth vest

This has been a crazy week. I went to San Francisco for four days to celebrate my best friend's birthday, and placed all of my errands and to-dos on hold until I got back. Now that I am back, I'm now dealing with the fact that I will be moving in just a couple of weeks!

I'm excited to move, but I am not at the same time. So truth be told, I've only lived here in this area for less than a year. I know a lot of people out here though and it is close enough to LA and Hollywood that on occasion, I actually feel as though I have a social life. However, now I"ll be moving about an hour away from LA and I'm getting a little bit of anxiety. My moving woes aside, I am excited to be closer to the OC. There's so much good Vietnamese food there...

Anyway, on to the outfit. This is definitely one of my very casual and no fuss outfits. A comfy pair of light wash jeans, a slightly cropped sweater with lace detail, and a gorgeous houndstooth vest that seriously makes a rather boring outfit stand out. Let's talk about the vest. I got this vest years and years and years ago from yesstyle.com. It is one of my favorite pieces in my wardrobe because it is so versatile! It's also a very nicely knit houndstooth which means it keeps me extra warm when I layer it with a coat or jacket.
